Rahmi, S.Hum., M.Sc., Ph.D

Rahmi is an Assistant Professor at Universitas Indonesia. She focuses on human-centered aspects of information behavior in her tenure-track faculty position within the Department of Library and Information Science, Faculty of Humanities. Her research expertise spans disaster-related human-information behavior, embodied information, computational social science, documentation studies, and crisis informatics. 

Rahmi holds an M.Sc and Ph.D. from the University of Tsukuba, Japan, specializing in Library, Information, and Media Studies, completed in 2015 and 2019. Her academic journey was marked by a significant milestone when she became the youngest individual in Indonesia to earn a doctorate in Library and Information Science at 27. 

She also leads Kappa Sigma Kappa Indonesia (KSKI) as the chairperson. In her administrative capacity, Dr. Rahmi is the Head of Synergy, Alignment & University Rankings Management within the Bureau of Transformation, Risk Management, Monitoring and Evaluation (TREM) at Universitas Indonesia. Her multifaceted role reflects her commitment to academic excellence and significant contribution to the Library and Information Science field.
